Support Along the Course: Hydration Stations - Currently there are 9 stations along the half marathon course. The locations are: Station #1 (1.7 miles), Station #2 (3.7 miles), Station #3 (5.2 miles), Station #4 (6.4 miles), Station #5 (7.6 miles), Station #6 (9.0 miles), Station #7 (10.2 miles), Station #8 (In and out of City Park, 10.8 & 11.3 miles) and Station #9 (12.4 miles).

Portable Toilets will be placed at Hydration Station #1 (1.7 miles), Hydration Station #2 (3.7 miles) and Hydration Station #6 (7.6 miles). Also, there is a men's and women's restroom in City Park just of the course next to the skateboard area (10.9 miles).

Half Marathon Finishing Time Requirement: There is a minimum 3 hour time limit by our permit. Therefore the half marathon is open to all who can maintain an average pace of at least 14:00 minutes. A sag wagon will be available for any participant who falls behind this minimum pace. The pick up of participants by the sag wagon will be based on the arrival time at each hydration station. A participant may request to be picked up prior to the hydration station (if they have fallen behind) or they can wait for it to arrive at the station.

Course Record Bonus: $75.00 will be awarded to the overall male, overall female, overall masters male (40+) or overall masters female (40+) for setting a new course record in the Half Marathon or 5K. See course records.

Shirts: All pre-registered participants by August 21st will receive a Boy Scout Half Marathon dry wicking race shirt. A limited number of shirts will be available after this date. Register online or have snail mail postmarked on or before August 21, 2012 to ensure you get a race shirt.

Half Marathon Age Group Awards: Age group awards will go 3 deep and will be given at 5 year increments. Age groups start at "19 and under" and go to "75+". No duplication of awards.

Pasta Dinner: Pagliai's Pizza at 945 South Main St, Bowling Green, Ohio is hosting a pasta dinner. Coupons will be given to all participants at "Early Packet Pickup" (see "early packet pickup" information) or at "Day of Registration". There are two options, a Pasta Buffet for $6.00 or a Full Buffet for $8.00. These coupons will be good through September.

Pancake Breakfast: The Boy Scouts are having a Pancake Breakfast in conjunction with the Soaring Eagle Runs nearby on the fairgrounds. It is all you can eat for a $5.00 donation and they have a great menu of: pancakes, sausage, orange juice, and coffee. The breakfast starts at 7:00 am and goes until noon.
